ISKCON Studies Journal Volume Two

After quite a delay we are starting to see some light at the end of the ISJ Tunnel with a hope to be in print by Spring 2011.
To prove that I'm not just making this all up, we even have a list of papers. Some of which we even have in hand!
So, while you're enduring the Winter, here is one more thing to look forward to at the end of it.
Papers in hand:
"Meditation as Devotional Practice in Jīva Gosvāmin’s Philosophy of Education"
Barbara A. Holdrege
"The Hare Kṛṣṇa Movement and Western Cultural Identity: Education, Preaching, Conversion"
Jan Olof Bengtsson
"Religious Conversion in ISKCON – A Case Study from Croatia"
Hrvoje Čargonja
"Balancing Charisma and Routinisation: Explaining the Growth and Expansion of ISKCON"
Kimmo Ketola
"Truth as Encounter – A Vedāntic Exposition on Teacher’s Grace"
Kiyokazu Okita
On the way
"The Meaning and Form of Conversion in Gaudiya Vaisnava Tradition"
Kumaripriya Dasi
"Faith (sraddha) within Caitanya Vaisnavism and Indian Theology"
Gopinathacarya Dasa
"Interfaith Dialogue in Higher Education"
Krsnadas Kaviraj Dasa
All of these were presentations at the 2009 and 2010 conferences so if you really can't wait, you can learn more on the conference pages.
As always, our first concern is to make these papers available so they will be on the site shortly after publication for free. We will also be selling them through www.lulu.com as hard copies and DRM-free pdfs.
